Week 11: Chicken Crossing

Once upon a time, there was a chicken named Chloe. She lived in the town named Chickelton. Chloe worked at the local restaurant, named Dottie’s Diner, which served items such as corn, wheat, and oats. The business was starting to slow down and people were starting to move away, because of the recession. She began to pack up all of her possessions and to move the kids away before the economy got any worse. A few days later, she was ready to move away. For a couple days, while trying to sell her coop, she stayed at a hotel called the Chicken House. She searched and searched for a new home, but could not find one. She had to resort to her final and most dangerous plan, which was to CROSS THE ROAD. She stood on the side of the road and waited for a clear shot over. When she saw one, she ran across the road with her chicks following. Luckily, they all made it without any of them being hit on the road. So, that is why the chicken crossed the road.

Week 10: Pumpkin Massacre

During the Halloween season there are many people, ghosts, witches, zombies, and mummies out celebrating, but there are some that cannot. For example the pumpkins cannot do anything. They are first cut from the vine before done growing, and they take them from there original home. Next, many of them get massacred by knives that approach from all angles and cut into their great orange flesh. After it is all said and done they either becoming jack o’ lanterns or delicious pumpkin pies. So, the next time you think about carving a pumpkin or slaughtering one to make pie, don’t do it and spare a life.
