Week 8: For sale: baby shoes, never worn.

There once in a far off land was a lady named Georgina. Her and her husband, Gregory, had six kids together. There families were very wealthy, so every time that they had a baby shower they got way too much stuff. In a normal family the clothes would passed down from sibling to sibling, but in this family it was different. Every child got new clothes including new shoes. Their last child was very spoiled. When Grant was a year old they had a birthday party for him. On the table where the gifts were there were two presents of similar size and shape. After they were opened there were two different pairs of shoes. One pair of shoes Grant loved, but the other he refused to wear. The parents talked it over for awhile and decided to put them in their store. In front of the repulsive shoes was a sign that said: "For sale: baby shoes, never worn."

Week 7: Gold Rush

If I were to pick a time period to go back to it would go back to the year
1848, specifically January 24.  I was out helping James W. Marshall build a sawmill for John Sutter, when we saw a gold nugget go floating by in the American River. We decided to quit for the day and do a little bit of investigating before telling the public about the gold nugget. We were unlucky the first day, so we came back again. We did not find anything the next day, so James decided to go into town and tell the local appraiser, to see what we could get out of that tiny nugget. When we got there, he saw the piece of gold and started to ask many questions. We kept on giving very general descriptions on the location that we found it, so he would not hunt for it. He never told us how much it was worth, but he got a mysterious smile on his face. I thought that he figured out, so after we left we waited outside to see what he was going to go do. He stopped at his home to change clothes before heading out. Then he went and found where we found the piece of gold.   A few weeks later there were over a thousand people creeping around in the river and everywhere around it. They were all looking for the gold. What had happened was that we told Greg (the appraiser), who told his wife Bitsy. Once one person knew they began to spread it, and before you knew people in the east part of the nation were heading into our direction. I knew that we should not have told the appraiser, but it was too late to do anything else.

Week 6: Cars

The Disney movie that I chose is Cars. I would change it up to get the view of Mater. I think that the life of Mater would be a lot more interesting. You could see what he sees and make you experience what he feels, like how it feels to go around backwards really fast with your rear view mirrors. You would figure out how it feels to be in a small town that only has a population of less than twenty. You would also figure out how it feels to be your own employer in operating your own tow truck business. You would be the monopoly in Radiator Springs for tow truck service. There would be fun waking the sleeping tractors, and herding them around town. Dragging Lightning McQueen around town and out of the gully might get exhausting.  There would be sadness when Lightning McQueen leaves, but the happiness would be regained when Mater goes on the helicopter ride that Lightning McQueen promised.  It would all end up happy again with the announcement that Lightning McQueen is opening up something near Radiator Springs.

Week 5: Doodling

I am not the kind of person that will doodle on anything. I am the type of person who thinks that doodling is what is withering away the trees and the ink supply throughout the world. I have not tried to doodle (and I do not plan on trying). If I were to doodle it would probably be using a ruler to sketch using more of straight lines, rather than curvy lines with shading. I do not do anything that would replace the task of doodling. There are some peoples doodles that are good, but I would rather see objects, like buildings being doodled rather that people or animals.

Week 4: Lacking Time

One morning Bernardo woke up and he didn’t know what time it was, so he looked at his clock, but it was blank. He hurried up and got ready for work, but he couldn’t tell if he was going to be late. He got into his 2012 Ford F350 and noticed that there were not numbers on the speedometer. On his way to work he drove what he thought would be a great speed, because he didn’t know how fast he was going. He got to work and was supposed to perform a presentation, but he was not sure when because he could not tell what time it was. Bernardo looked outside so he thought that it was lunchtime, just because the position of the sun. At the end of the day he got a paycheck that was just a salary, instead of paid for hours.  He left his work and went out to eat with his family, but when he got there the restaurant was already closed. Then he went home and went to bed, without watching the news, because he did not know when it was on.

Week 3: Questionnaire

If I were to be questioned by many people it would be on the topic of living on a family ran farm. There would be many questions, but the knowledge that I possess should be just what I need to get through the day of questions. Some of questions would be:

Question: What animals can you have on a farm?
Answer: Animals that farms have on them can include pigs, cattle, chickens, horses, ducks, geese, and turkeys
Question: Does teamwork help in accomplishing different tasks related to farming?
Answer: Yes, it has a very big affect and helps throughout many different tasks that happen many times a year to only a couple times a year.

Week 2: My Enemy

There are some things that I do that just irritate me. One thing that really bothers me is that when I read aloud, I notice every time that I mess up or make a mistake. Another thing that bothers me about myself is how I try my hardest to be a great writer, but I do not think I am as good as I think I am. Lastly,  I dislike very strongly how the week two blog seemed to look so easy to write about, but the truth is that it was the hardest one out of the entire first quarter.
