Throughout the past eleven and a half months a lot
has happened, and a lot has changed in my life. I believe that it has been a
great year due to various different occasions and events. One thing that
changed over the course of the past months is that I began to start doing more
of my blogs faster with better quality work. I went from taking one independent
class in my junior year to taking three classes on my own in my senior. I will
make it better by trying new things and spending memorable moments with class
members before graduation.

Week 15: Describing Snow
Dear Pen Pal,
I know that you have never
experienced snow before, so I thought that I would give you a good description
of what snow is. Imagine that you were a plate of spaghetti the parmesan cheese
that falls from the sky would be the snow. If that does not work for you, I
have another description. Envisage that you are a cake or pan of brownies the
coconut or powdered sugar that falls to the ground would act like snow. Now
that you have the look, you probably want to know the texture. Imagine grabbing
a handful of frozen vanilla ice cream in your hands, the texture of the snow is
similar to the ice cream, exchanging the stickiness for wetness. Now, there are
many things that you can build with your well imagined snow. You could make a snowball to throw at your
friends or enemies. You could also build an igloo or for, like people do in
Antarctica and as seen on television. Lastly, you could build a snowman, like
me, and make it as tall as you can.
Sincerely,
Your Snow Expert
Week 13: Turkey Adventures
One fall day in early November, I had a very rude awakening.
The tree limb had broken and dropped me out of the tree, probably because I
gained a few pounds in the last week without noticing. I began to start walking
through the forest with my head held high and beak pointed straight north. I
was looking for breakfast, but could not find any. As I was walking from brush
spot to open spot, I began to notice some people walking around with big guns.
Without a doubt, I kept walking on my search for a delicious meal, until
something happened. I heard a gunshot and it was close by, so I began to run
towards the nearest bush. When I got there, I came up with a game plan to live
for another year. To begin my plan I flew up into the nearest tree as high as I
could. Next, I had to wait, which made me hungry, but I was able to survive for
a while. After waiting for what seemed like forever, I had my chance to escape.
The hunter was coming in my direction, so I took my stance and mentally
prepared myself. When he walked under
the limb I jump down on top of him and scared him causing him to fall and drop
his gun. After jumping I ran as fast as I could away from the hunter, ensuring
my safety for another couple of months.
Week 14: Changing the Past
If I could redo something in my life, it would be something near and dear to me. I wish that I could go back to my junior year of high school. During my junior year, if high school I made mistakes which I can never recover from. I wish that I could go back and get my blogs done before the end of the quarter. I was just kidding about that, but I would go back to the beginning of this school year and second think some of the classes that I decided to take. I think that I would go back and drop Calculus and possibly Comp and Novels just for the ICC portion. If I would have it would have allowed me to have more free time, so that I could focus more on less classes rather than dividing my focus so much.
Week 12: Country Music
I am not embarrassed about any of the music that I enjoy listening to. People may think that some music is embarrassing, but, I do not think that listening country music is embarrassing. However, I believe that music does a very good job in defining what kind of person you are, even if you cannot express your feelings. There are some people who are considered country that I do not believe should be considered in the country music genre. Lastly, I think that the category of country is being too loosely stretched for people who do not belong, like some people who originated in other genres.
