Week 15: Describing Snow

Dear Pen Pal,
I know that you have never experienced snow before, so I thought that I would give you a good description of what snow is. Imagine that you were a plate of spaghetti the parmesan cheese that falls from the sky would be the snow. If that does not work for you, I have another description. Envisage that you are a cake or pan of brownies the coconut or powdered sugar that falls to the ground would act like snow. Now that you have the look, you probably want to know the texture. Imagine grabbing a handful of frozen vanilla ice cream in your hands, the texture of the snow is similar to the ice cream, exchanging the stickiness for wetness. Now, there are many things that you can build with your well imagined snow.  You could make a snowball to throw at your friends or enemies. You could also build an igloo or for, like people do in Antarctica and as seen on television. Lastly, you could build a snowman, like me, and make it as tall as you can.

                                                                                                            Sincerely,

Your Snow Expert
